As the Co-founder and CEO of Excel4apps, Michele (pronounced mee-KEH-leh) is responsible for the corporate strategy and the global marketing and sales teams. Prior to forming Excel4apps, Michele was a Divisional Director at KPMG Consulting’s Oracle division and continued to lead implementations as part of EOH’s Navigor division after KPMG was acquired by EOH in 2003. He has been personally involved in the implementation of over 20 major Oracle projects in eight countries around the world while Navigor was named Oracle’s top implementation partner in South Africa for five consecutive years.
Michele studied Accountancy, Business Information Systems and Commercial Law at Rhodes University. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Australian Computer Society.
Michele continues to use his extensive financial background to provide input on product development as well as optimising Excel4apps’ internal financial and operational processes.
Shaun Pendrigh leads the design and development of Excel4apps’ technology offerings, including the management of its high-quality support centre.
Previously, Shaun was the Technical Manager at KPMG Consulting and later at EOH with a specialisation in delivering system integration projects in the Oracle Financials space. There he was responsible for managing the team of Oracle developers and was involved in architecting the solutions delivered on various Oracle implementation projects. Prior to his role with KPMG and EOH, Shaun worked for Oracle South Africa as a pre-sales consultant for the company’s financial products.
Shaun obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accountancy at UNISA and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Shaun is also passionate about cars and enjoys Formula 1 motor racing.
As the Managing Director for the Africa and Middle East region for Excel4apps, Shirley Riddick manages the operations of the region and provides customer consulting and training assistance.
Prior to joining Excel4apps in 2006, Shirley worked at EOH/KPMG Consulting in the Oracle business unit as part of the Oracle Financials implementation team, which was named Oracle’s Top Implementation Partner for five consecutive years. She also gained experience with the SAP environment as a business analyst for ExxonMobil.
Shirley has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Informatics, Economics and Logistics, and graduated with an Honours Degree in Informatics from Rand Afrikaans University.
Chris Meyer is the President of the Americas and oversees operations in support of growth efforts within this region.
Prior to joining Excel4apps, Chris was a member of the executive leadership of the financial analytics software company, macs Controlling, where he managed the company’s launch of a U.S. division. He also has considerable consulting experience with Perot Systems, Diagonal Plc, and KPMG, in which he successfully led and participated in engagements assisting clients with SAP systems implementations, IT Strategy and planning, and corporate performance management initiatives both in the U.S. and abroad.
Chris obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accountancy at the University of Johannesburg. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants CA (SA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Chris resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife, Leanne, two boys and a mad beagle by the name of Max.
Dean Jones is the Managing Director of the Excel4apps European region.
Responsible for the overall business operation of this region, Dean brings over 20 years of experience in software solutions development, sales, marketing, support and management of commercial software applications to his role at Excel4apps. Prior to joining Excel4apps, Dean was Vice President, Products & Special Projects at The GL Company (now InsightSoftware.com), where he was the original conceptualist of the first real-time virtual OLAP inquiry solution for JD Edwards. Dean was instrumental in leading the transformation of the GL Company into profit with development of the GL Inquiry Suite through rapid growth of Sales in Europe and launching the product in the USA. Prior to that, Dean was Consolidation Reporting Product Manager for Walker Financials (Walker Interactive Inc.).
In the earlier part of his career, Dean was one of the first Microsoft Certified Solution Developers in the world and has developed and managed numerous time-saving software solutions for organisations. He obtained a Bachelor Science (Hons) Degree in Computer Science from the University of Teesside and was awarded the Centre of Excellence for Computing, where his work in Genetic Algorithms lives on today.
Wilhelm Hamman is the Managing Director for the Asia Pacific and Japan region at Excel4apps. With over 11 years of sales experience in the software industry, his previous roles have ranged from sales and pre-sales for a global software vendor to smaller software organizations.
Wilhelm is an active speaker at industry events for various information technology topics, such as ITIL. He is a qualified engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from North-West University.
Wilhelm also serves as a volunteer lifesaver along the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia, and coaches youth sports, including soccer and softball.
As Director of Sales, Middle East, at Excel4apps, Richard Savill is responsible for business development and sales within this region.
Richard brings over 20 years of international experience in sales, marketing, finance, and operations within a range of organizations, including Air New Zealand, BellSouth New Zealand Limited, AT& T UK, Lucent Technologies, and Brightpoint Middle East.
Richard has a Bachelor of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Business from the University of Auckland. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and paddling his surf-ski around Dubai’s man-made islands.
Scott Stollwerk leads the direct and indirect sales force for the Americas region.
With 18 years of experience in sales and sales management in the technology and telecommunications sector, Scott previously founded a sales training and coaching firm that served corporate clients in the Fortune 500 as well as start-up companies and individuals. He consistently ranked in the top percentage of sales performers during his career with Time Warner Business Solutions, eVault, and Digital Commerce.
Scott holds a B.A. in English from Albany State University and a J.D. from Thomas Cooley Law School. He is licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
As the Global Marketing Director, Ashley and her team are responsible for the development and execution of marketing efforts across all Excel4apps regions. Channels include web, email, direct mail, print, advertising, public relations, social media, and events.
Before joining Excel4apps, Ashley served as Director of Marketing for Carnegie Learning, a mathematics software and textbook publisher, where her team was responsible for all marketing channels in the United States. Prior to that, Ashley was the General Manager for Fundamental Labor Strategies, a labor leasing and consulting firm, where she was a member of the Senior Management Team and supported marketing, market research, sales and recruiting programs, and employee training functions.
Ashley obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Westminster College where she also served as captain of the Women’s Intercollegiate Basketball team. She enjoys photography and digital scrapbooking and resides in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, son, and daughter.
Conrad Jooste joined Excel4apps in 2011 as Marketing Manager, in which he manages all online marketing campaigns globally and all business processes within salesforce.
His previous experience includes over 15 years of marketing and project management with the likes of Avaya, Centrica and Johnson & Johnson.
Conrad received his Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and Accountancy from The University of Cape Town and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management for the WITS Business School. Conrad is a keen endurance sports participant having completed a number of marathons, ultras, and IronMan races.
Grant Peterson joined Excel4apps in 2009 as Product Manager, in which he manages new product development.
His previous experience includes Deloitte, where he completed accounting articles and served as SAP FICO senior consultant on multiple full-cycle SAP implementations, during which he received commendation from the Australian Department of Defence. Grant also acted as an independent SAP FICO consultant as well as an account manager for an asset intelligence solution.
Grant received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Higher Diploma in Accountancy from Rhodes University. He is SAP FICO certified, a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Grant is active in football, golf, and rugby.
