Excel4apps was pleased to present with the Wildlife Conservation Society, “How the Wildlife Conservation Society is Streamlining SAP Reporting using Microsoft Excel” at the NY Metro ASUG chapter meeting on September 4-5, 2014. A renowned Public Sector organization, the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) sought to improve its SAP financial reporting and inquiry capability. Sue Manasse, ERP Manager with WCS, presented the company’s previous reporting processes, challenges, and factors that drove them to seek a simple reporting solution, GL Wand by Excel4apps, that has certified integration with the SAP ERP application.
Attendess were able to learn about the installation and setup process from a user’s perspective as well as key improvements to WCS’s financial reporting after implementation. Sue shared some unique data and reporting needs that Excel4apps was able to address in the areas of Fund and Grant Management.

- How to extract data from SAP software to Microsoft Excel in real-time
- Understanding the difference between static and flexible ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Report balances from the new GL, classic GL, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, orders, activity types, statistical key figures (SKF), all with the ease of Excel.
