There are four possible installation options for the GL Wand server component:

1.    Database package connecting via Mod PL/SQL

2.    Database package connecting via Mod PL/SQL in a custom schema e.g. Oracle OnDemand site

3.    Java servlet on Oracle 11i

4.    Java servlet on Oracle 12

Select the option that best suits your configuration and requirements and jump to the applicable section below to perform the installation. These tasks will need to be performed by your Oracle Applications database administrator. Some guidelines on selecting the most appropriate installation method are as follows:

       If you are using Oracle release 12 you must install the java servlet.

       If you are using Oracle 11.5.7 to 11.5.9 you must use the database package install.

       If you are on 11.5.10 to 11.5.10.2 you can use either the database package or the java servlet install.

       If you use the database package install and your system policies require that you do not install any custom objects in the APPS schema then use the database package in custom schema option
